To say want in Russian can be different. If you say I want, it is I hochu (literally would be Ya Hochu, ya for "I" as in myself). So I hochu you, means I want you. I hochu you, I want you!

To say they want, it would be Hotyat. They hotyat me to go with them. They want me to go with them. They HOTYAT me to go... They want me... They hotyat me...
